Aubrey was born and raised in San Fernando Valley and traded it in for chilly England, studying Nutrition at Oxford Brookes University. Upon returning to the sunshine in Los Angeles, she found herself in a variety of roles, but none more influential than her volunteer work with APLA, where she developed and taught health classes to her LA neighbors living with AIDS. Aubrey quickly realized that education was not enough when access to nutritious foods is not available to all. In an effort to combine her love of nutrition and her passion for food justice, she applied to join the team at Food Forward, and…ta-da! When she’s not working, you can find her checking out a new coffee shop, finding her zen (or trying to) in a yoga class, or brushing her ridiculously fluffy cats.
